We take the time to listen carefully and to understand all of the ways you think your life has been affected by potential neuro-diversity. We are skilled in differentiating complexities associated with individual presentations, gender, masking, scaffolding, and where there is more than one condition present.
We make sure you receive an assessment and diagnosis that is high quality, carefully documented and descriptive of you as an individual and your unique profile.
Our assessments meet NHS requirements. We provide follow-up interventions including medication titration, shared care with your GP, and non-pharmacological interventions provided by experts in the field.
If we think there is a different reason or additional reasons you are having difficulties, we will discuss this with you and offer advice and/or signposting to further sources of support or additional assessment.

Many people with ADHD are not hyperactive at all. This is one of the main reasons ADHD may be missed in childhood
ADHD can also be missed in childhood due to high intellectual functioning, hyper focus on topics of interest and being provided with sufficient structure at home and in school.
Many hyperactive people have “calmed down” by adulthood, at least on the outside.
Medication can be helpful, but is often not enough. Adults with ADHD frequently require additional help to find the right strategies to help with executive functioning difficulties.
Individuals with ADHD also often need emotional/psychological support to counteract all the negative messages they received when their actions didn’t meet other peoples expectations. They are more likely to have experienced rejection and criticism than people without ADHD. This can lead to depression, anxiety, low self esteem and can affect relationships.
